Every Day Is Taco Tuesday at Taco Bamba in Rockville

  |     |   Uncategorized

When was the last time you treated yourself to a true Taco Tuesday? Take a break from the daily grind and let Taco Bamba do the heavy culinary lifting for your fiesta. A new branch of this small chain just opened in Rockville with a slate of both classic and contemporary tacos, carefully crafted happy hour cocktails, and even a small roster of “crispy things” to nosh on. Start with a signature Margarita Bamba and some of said “crispy things,” like the Bamba fries. The chef tops them with fresh carne asada, chorizo, queso, pico de gallo, cotija cheese, and guacamole—making the appetizer more like a meal. Share the fries so you have plenty of room for a taco or two, perhaps the traditional carne asada, barbacoa, or birria tacos. If you’re feeling a little more adventurous, opt for one of the specialty tacos, such as the Taco Bamba. It features tender skirt steak, chorizo, pickled veggies, and grilled guacamole with cheese and cilantro. Prefer to skip the meat? The “Spicy ‘Shroom” includes chipotle-seasoned portobello mushrooms and corn with pickled red onions, heart of palm, and cotija.
